Campaign Story

My name is Dumisani, and I am reaching out with a humble request for support during one of the most difficult times my family has ever faced.

Recently, both my partner and I lost our jobs almost at the same time. Since then, life has become extremely challenging for us and our children. We are struggling to afford basic daily needs such as food, school fees, transport, and rent. Every day has become uncertain, and we constantly worry about how we will provide the next meal for our family.

We have tried asking relatives and people close to us for financial assistance, but unfortunately we have not been able to receive the help we hoped for. Even when job interview opportunities come up, it becomes difficult to attend because we do not have money for transport or the financial means to start working again.

As someone who is creative and passionate about content creation, I also started a TikTok page in hopes of building an income and creating opportunities for my family. Although I continue working hard and staying hopeful, growth and recognition take time, and at the moment it has not yet become enough to support our daily needs.

Right now, we do not even have the ability to buy monthly groceries, and we are forced to take each day as it comes, trying to survive with whatever food we can find. As parents, it is heartbreaking not being able to provide stability and security for our children.

We are kindly asking for assistance in raising R10,000 to help us cover urgent household needs, including food, school fees, rent, and transport while we continue searching for employment opportunities and work toward rebuilding our lives.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference for our family during this difficult period. We would also deeply appreciate your prayers, kindness, and sharing of our story.
